The Annual Autumn Gala, sponsored by the St. Catherine Hospital Development Foundation, was held October 10, 2009 at St. Catherine Hospital. For the first time in its six year history the Gala was a sellout. The Gala is rapidly becoming the focal event of the fall season and the unofficial kickoff to the holidays.
Beautiful flower centerpieces adorned the tables around a color scheme of autumn colors of bronze, gold, silver, platinum and copper. The band "Private Stock" from Kansas City provided the entertainment for the evening. The Golf Club at Southwind provided a buffet dinner. Dr. and Mrs. Richard Hall generously donated a spring break vacation to Estes Park, Colorado to be given away.
The Foundation was incorporated in 2003 to provide financial support to the hospital for future development and special projects. The funds raised from the Gala will go towards completion of the SCH Cardiac Center.
The Foundation would like to extend special thanks to our major sponsors and to the community for making the Gala a success. Plans are already underway for next years Gala which will be held on October 23, 2010. Mark your calendars now.
